Northern Counties Staffordshire Bull Terrier club Open Show 2nd March 2025 Wow that's how I'm going to start, just wow. First of all a big thank you to Northern Counties SBT Club for invited me to judge at this excellent club, who run a fab ship, keep up the great work and thank you for my gifts. I loved it and secondly, a huge thank you to all that entered, absolutely blew me away with overall entry 99. Wow, I didn't know what to say I was overwhelmed Class 1 Baby Puppy Dog & Bitch 3/3 Just want to start off by saying I didn't go in these babies’ mouths as I find it too soon to be poking around sensitive mouths it can put them off 1st Wojkowska’s Untamed One 4 1/2 months black Brindle with white flash chest and tippy toes, lovely little lad good, shaped head with round dark eyes has a nice outline and frame good rib for age level top line moved well considering they are babies 2nd Miller’s Skyland Tilikum this land is only a day or older than first also black Brindle with a little Flash on chest good, shaped head dark eyes neat is a level top line moved ok wish both boys the best of luck in the future 3rd Petts Arkenstaff She’s The One Class 2 MPD 1/3 1ST Well’s Wellsstaffs young warrior 8 months black Brindle this dog is smart lovely, shaped head scissor bite dark eyes he shows lots of expression a nice outline great angulations good rib and level top line today a little one settled was very loud which can be overwhelming for a young pup Class 3 PD 3/4 1st Jennings Elitebull Valentine 11 months old white and red pied dog very smart handsome clean lad broad skull with neat rose ears round dark eyes scissor bite with good muzzle to head ratio strong neck that flows into well muscled laid back shoulders straight front deep brisket well sprung ribs level top line will muscle hind quarters with good bend of stifle which gives him power and drive on the move holding his level top line moved well BD RBIS & BOS a long day for this lad become a tad fed up losing his spark where unfortunately the puppy bitch piped him to the post for best puppy in show, all the best with him in the future 2nd McFadyen's Araidh Captain Chaso also 11 months Brindle dog with white Flash on chest a lovely broad skull dark eyes Rose ears with a scissor bite well laid back shoulders with straight front good rib stifles well bent was a little unsettled when on the move but then a little more settled in his to later classes also a quality dog also the winner of novice and graduate dog 3rd Hall’s Geordiestaff Local Hero Class 4 JD 1/1 1st Waltham’s Dringshaw Strobe 16 months white dog smart lad clean most broad skull with dark eyes scissor bite with nice pigmentation good length of neck well laid-back shoulders straight front with neat feet well sprung ribs level top line and good tuck up moved well with the Stafford spark Class 5 YD 2/5 1st Watson’s Dringshaw Masterpiece At Sparksttaff just shy of 2 years this lad a red and white pied smart dude again he’s clean nicely shaped head with dark eyes rose ears a Scissor bite good pigmentation strong neck leading into well laid-back shoulders with straight front good spring of rib and a level top line nice tuck up stifles are well bent giving him power and drive on the move also had the Stafford spark just slow down just a tad with him 2nd see 1st in JD Class 6 ND 4/4 1st see 2nd in PD 2nd Hall’s Geordiestaff Local Hero 11 months old black Brindle with white chest and socks broad skull with dark eyes and a Scissor bite good depth of chest and spring of rib muscular hindquarters moved well both ways also 3rd in PD 3rd Owen’s Caring Theoskingofthepark Class 7 GD 6/6 1st see 2nd in PD Both nice lads in this class movement piped top spot 2nd see 1st in JD 3rd see 2nd in ND Class 8 PGD 2/2 1st Lloyd’s Kalostaff Es Lo Que Es JW 2years black brindle chap with a broad skull, pronounced cheek muscles round eyes a bit lighter, rose ears with a scissor bite masculine neck with well laid-back shoulders straight front good depth of brisket well sprung ribs with a level top line that he held on the move well muscle hindquarters moved well I have judged this lad before he has matured well 2nd Courtney’s T’Blazing Star Of The Warriors Red Skin (IMP FRA) a couple of weeks shy of be 3 this dog red with black mask and white on chest an old school lad in expression and features broad skull with good length of muzzle to head ratio dark eye with a scissor bite wide front deep chest well sprung ribs with a level top line moved ok Class 9 LD 3/4 1st Thomas's Biggleswick Mr Tom (AI) 3year old chap he’s a deep red with black mask and a white flash on chest a clean lad broad skull with good muzzle to head ratio dark eyes pronounce cheeks a scissor bite with good length of neck well-muscled laid-back shoulders straight front well barrelled rib good tuck up with A level top line well muscle hind quarters stifles well bent giving him power and drive on the move moved well 2nd Green’s Sikaistaff Black Barrel At Cocostaff JW 2-year-old dog black brindle he’s has a broad skull I would prefer a little more muzzle to head ratio, pronounced cheeks, dark eyes scissor bite straight front good depth of chest well sprung ribs with a level top line muscular hindquarters moved ok 3rd Kenyon’s Pendlestaff Hurricane Class10 OD 3/3 1st Ch Dringshaw Athos JW 4 years old dog red and white pied top size a clean chap with broad skull with pronounced cheek muscles rose ears dark eyes, scissor bite strong neck leading down to well laid back shoulders straight front deep brisket with well sprung ribs a level top line that he holds on the move muscular hind quarters with stifles well bent giving him power and drive he shows no weaknesses this chap moving sound both ways 2nd Marsden’s Jayneze Doctor Jimmy At Modlife just under 2years old black Brindle also a strong head deep throughout good muzzled head ratio dark eyes this is a bite good length of neck leading to world back shoulders deep brisket good spring of rib and level top line good bend to stifles also moving well 3rd Stanway’s Waystaff Strike Action Class 11 VD 2/4 1st Preston's Tillcarr Fire Starter JW 7-year-old black Brindle with white flash on chest now this chap doesn't know that he is in a veteran class he has a broad skull with good muzzled head ratio dark eyes with a scissor bite a little grey on the chin but that's still doesn't tell you that he's a veteran he has a good strong neck with a straight front laid back shoulders with a level top line good strong Hind quarters he moves sound and has that character of a typical Stafford when doing so and in the line-up he tells you that it belongs to him and watches your every move giving that cheeky chap smile RBD BVD & BVIS 2nd Sloka's Alport Hallo Man 11-year-old black brindle dog with a dot of white on chest happy chap differently loves he’s handler good, shaped head with dark eyes and rose ears straight wide front deep chest good spring of rib a level top line moved ok was very much enjoyed he’s day Class 12 MPB 1/2 1st Well’s Wellsstaffs Shine A Light 8 months Black Brindle bitch with white on neck and chest also a set of socks this girl is feminine from the top of her head to the tips of her toes feminine head pretty with round dark eyes scissor bite good muzzle to head ratio well laid back shoulders with a straight front and neat feet well sprung ribs a nice tuck up with a level top line that she holds on the move she is sound and clean well muscled hindquarters with well let down hooks will not be surprised if this young lady goes on to do great thing in the ring BPB & BPIS Class 13 PB 3/9 1ST Stanway’s Waystaff Causing Mayhem 11 ½ Months white and red pied bitch this little lady also clean and pretty with feminine head dark eyes good pigmentation scissor bite straight from well boned barrelled ribs a nice tuck up level top held on the move well muscle tone quarters with well let down hocks she just lacked a bit of expression today 2nd Green’s Cocostaff Runbullion 11 months black brindle bitch this look lady also has a feminine head with good muzzle to head ratio dark round eyes nice length of neck with well laid-back shoulders straight front tidy feet barrelled ribs with a nice tuck up moved okay 3rd Hagan’s Kahamaia Auckland Class 14 JB 8/10 1st Thomas’s Biggleswick Wicked One 14 months red birch with white chest and socks another pretty girl with feminine head broad skull with good muzzle to head ratio dark eyes rose ears with a scissor bite clean outline leg straight and well boned with deep brisket well sprung ribs top line is level holding on the move she has well muscle hind quarters with well let down hook’s selfies bent moved well RBB 2nd Mayren’s Fergiestaffs Rainbow 15 months red, white flash on her face chest and socks also a pretty girl with good pigmentation feminine broad head with dark eyes and rose ears scissor bite good length is neck strong and also clean in outline laid back shoulders well sprung ribs a level top line that she held muscular hind quarters also moving well try to show her expression more this class could easily change on a different day a quality class 3rd Miller’s Skyland Ryoko Class 15 YB 6/8 1st Monovski’s Harlivstaff Tommy’s Girl 23 months red with white bitch with a flash on her face neck and down her chest with socks too a very pretty girl with great pigmentation she is clean in outline her head is feminine with round dark eyes has good length of muzzle to head ratio rose ears with pronounced cheeks a scissor bite strong neck flowing through to well laid back shoulders muscular straight front with deep brisket well sprung ribs a nice tuck up her hindquarters are muscular with stifles well bent and well let down hooks carrying her tail correctly she has a level top line that she carries on the move moving soundly coming and going this lady is clean showing all the qualities a Stafford has very happy to award her best bitch and Best In Show her handler could do with a bit of practice and to relax a bit more have fun and enjoy but nonetheless never took a thing away from this beautiful girly 2nd Winrow & Greaves Jayneze Miss Attitude 23 months Brindle bitch also a lovely girl nice feminine head with good muzzle to head ratio dark eyes scissor bite strong muscular neck with laid-back shoulders straight front good depth of chest with spring of rib level top line that she holds on the move muscular hindquarters giving her drive moved well. 3rd Smiths Dringshaw Girl On Fire Class 16 NB 7/9 1st Monovski’s Harlivstaff Tommy’s Girl See 1st in YB 2nd Biggleswick Mind Your Back 14 months Red bitch with white flash on her chest: feminine head, good length of muzzle to head ratio, dark eyes, rose ears, good pigmentation with a scissor bite, nice straight front, muscular shoulders, nice Barrel ribs, a good tuck up, hocks well let down with stifles well bent with neat feet, moving well. 3rd Miller’s Skyland Ryoko Class 17 GB 0/3 Class 18 PGB 6/6 1st Windows & Greaves Jayneze Ramona 23 Months Black Brindle bitch: very feminine bitch, nice clean head, round dark eyes, rose ears tight lips with a scissor bite, very clean, nice length of neck, well laid-back shoulders, straight front set wide apart, body is close-coupled Well sprung ribs, nice tuck up and muscular hindquarters, hocks were let down, level top line held on the move, moving well with reach and drive.
